I received from Bill Byrne some campaign literature that is quite interesting. First, he wants to adopt a Land-Use policy tha limits the maximum population of Cobb County to 750,000. Second, he wants to adopt a policy “that requires that all infrastructure of roads, bridges, water and sewer must be in place before new development will be approved.” He aggressively opposes the regional sales tax proposal for transportation improvements as well. With the water crisis still looming and residential development still growing, should we limit our population in Cobb County?
