It’s with a very sad heart for me to report that my dear friend Jack Sutton died at home this Sunday morning after a bout with leukemia over the past few months.  There are so many things I will miss:  true friendship, unwavering principles not only to the Republican party but how he lived his life, his love of life and how he taught others around him, his willingness to help others whatever the circumstance.     I express my deepest sympathy to the family.   Jack made an impact on everyone he touched in his life.Castellaw Funeral Home on Church Street in Smyrna is in charge of arrangements and visitation will be Monday, October 8th  from 6 to 8PM.   The funeral will be held on Tuesday October 9th at 1PM.  Condolences may be sent to 401 Hurt Road, Smyrna, GA 30082.

(SEE ABOVE POST- JACK PASSED ON SUNDAY MORNING)  I met Jack in 2000.  Over the past few years while I was chairman, whenever he was asked, Jack always came through in volunteering, helping on committees, or financially assisting the Republican Party.   He’s a Republican that always puts his principles first.  He never waivers on his beliefs.  And his advice and consel will always be remembered.  Currently, he works as a special assistant to Congressman Phil Gingrey.  Please pray for Jack for the power of prayer can achieve amazing things.  This man wears one heck of a cowboy hat.

Some of you are aware that Jack has been undergoing treatments for an anemia problem for the  past several weeks.   He has been receiving platelets and blood periodically and a series of chemo treatments for five days at a time about once a month.   He had been in the hospital for a little over a week because of an infection that he picked up as a result of the iv’s.      All the time he has been in treatment he has had to avoid crowds and public places because of his low immune system.    He’s at home now, with only a week or two to live.  Please do not send flowers as a request from his family.

Send him a note, let him know how your appreciation at
